Volunteering throughout Erie County
I have been blessed in my life-I have a healthy family, great health myself, wonderful friends who support me in all of my endeavors, and a career I love. I love my hometown and the community here in Erie, Pa and my goal is to be able to give back as best I can. Sometimes giving of your time is just as valuable, if not more, than the giving of your money.
We all have passions in our life, so finding a way to give back isn’t difficult. Whether it’s making sure children have enough to eat, working to fight animal cruelty or helping the homeless, we can all give a little to make a big difference. I have listed just a few organizations that can always use our help, and also a website to go to if you don’t see your favorite cause.
How I currently volunteer my time:
Financial Peace University
Community United Church-I am the chair Finance Committee. We also volunteer time, money & food for a local food kitchen every second Saturday of the month, as well as stocking their food pantry and taking donations for The Upper Room.
